Hordle then carried on keeping up the pressure with two more attempts at goal, one resulting in hitting the woodwork. All of Hordle's efforts were then rewarded when they opened the score line with a goal 1-0.

Christchurch continued to carry on with some good defending from Jack, Beau and Luis at the back keeping the score line at 1-0 at half-time.

Christchurch seemed to start the second half on a positive note and seemed to be fired up but Hordle appeared to be the stronger team within the second half as they were able to score a goal 2 minutes into the half bringing the score line to 2-0. Lewis then had a great shot on goal helped out by Taryn, Luis and Harry but was just wide, a good effort though. Alex, Mikey continued to battle on in midfield but Hordle were able to again extend their lead to 3-0. Hordle were then successful in scoring their end goal making the score line 4-0.

Even though Hordle were the winning team, Christchurch kept on battling until the final whistle, unlucky boys look forward to playing next week and increasing our points.

Christchurch v Rossgarth

Match Result: 0 - 2

Christchurch started strongly and in the 1st minute Mikey and Lewis created a good chance but it was not converted, the game flowed end to end with great defending from both sides and some super saves from Conor in the Christchurch goal and also from the keeper of Rossgarth. Both teams were trying hard to break the deadlock with Christchurch just edging it in terms of chances created and shots on target but sadly they could not score the important first goal.

Half time: 0 - 0

Four minutes into the second half and Rossgarth scored against the run of play. The second half then carried on much like the first with both teams playing entertaining football and trying to breach the others net, but as with the first half both goalkeepers were in excellent form and denied the opposition time and again. As with the first half Christchurch had a lot of possession but could not make it tell and get that elusive equaliser, with six minutes left Rossgarth scored the decisive second goal and held out for a hard fought victory.

Both teams should be extremely proud of how they played, plenty of enthusiasm and skill and boundless energy, a superb game.

There was some good teamwork played by Christchurch when Charlie chipped the ball into the box and Jack had a half chance of a goal. Alex was then subbed and Taryn made his debut for Christchurch and then Ringwood came back with another 2 goals making the half-time score 4-0.
