Highcliffe won their league last season without losing a game and had started well this season in the higher league so we certainly weren't taking this for granted. We started well enough but after about ten minutes conceded with their first attack of the game. We kept at it though and got four goals before half time; the first was a sublime lob by Harry. Again we started the better in the second half but they were a constant threat. In all honesty 7 - 2 did flatter us but it slightly makes up for the fact that a 4 - 1 reverse the other week against Greenfields was a travesty.
