Beau played strongly in defence working hard to keep Mudeford out. Unfortunately being a boy down, Christchurch began to tire; Mudeford took full advantage and scored 3 more times. Kings Park Dynamos v Christchurch
Match Result: 3 - 2 Goal Scorers: Mikey, Cameron The boys kicked off and made a flying start, passing the ball quickly catching Dynamos sleeping in their goal mouth. Cameron scored, knocking the ball in from a lovely pass. Dynamos had a couple of good chances, but the boys defended well to keep them out. The ball was exchanged between the teams in the midfield to make it an execiting first half. Then not long before the end of the first half Dynamos scored to bring the game level. The second half started in the same high speed as the first, with both teams battling in the middle of the pitch to dominate. Dynamos got the upper hand by scoring again. Following the goal Jaidon made a couple of good saves to keep us in the game. The boys took the ball to the other end and Charlie scored β which was unfortunely disallowed by the referee. Yet they kept plugging away and with a great team effort between Jack, Mikey and Charlie β Mikey scored. This brought the game level again. For the rest of the game there was action at both ends of the pitch. Neither team wanted to lose. Five minutes before the end our boys took the ball up the field and unfortunely left themselves exposed at the back, Dynamos took advantage of this and scored just before the final whistle. A big congratulations to Cameron for his first goal for Christchurch you deserve it. Everyone on the team should be proud of yourselves, you all played well, it was an enjoyable game to watch. Goal scorer: Mikey Christchurch played a good game, with Jaidon making some excellent saves to keep Christchurch in the game. The boys had some really close chances unfortunately the ball just would not go in the back of the net. At the end of the first half the score was 0 - 0, it had been a lively half. Half time: 0 - 0 The second half started in the same vein, Lymington getting on the score sheet first. Soon after that Mikey scored. Christchurch did well to hold their own against a physical team. Towards the end of the game Lymington proved the strong side scoring another 4 goals. The boys kept battling until the final whistle and were unlucky not to score more. Boys, you should hold your heads high you all played well and cleanly. Itβs a sorry farewell to John who played his last game for us today, well done you have been solid in defence and we will all miss you.` Full time: 1 - 5 |
