Christchurch started the game positively keeping good possession of the ball and trying to play football on what was a difficult surface at Ringwood. The chances came thick and fast with the Ringwood keeper making good saves throughout the first Half. The first goal came when Ben Hatch latched on to a poor pass and blasted the ball past the keeper. We continued to make good chances and the second goal came after a goal mouth scramble resulted in George Gunn slotting home from close range.

Half -time 0-2

The second half again saw us with good possession but Ringwood made more of a game of it but after 10 mins the best move of the game saw Ben Hatch slot past the keeper. Pete Old an old Christchurch favourite scored for Ringwood but we were always in control and a good solo effort by Greg O'Mallo made it 4-1.
With some of the lads away on Hants U-18 duty it was a good solid performance by the team.
